My Inspiration
My work begins with observation — a fleeting light across water, the hush of a woodland path, or a detail glimpsed on a quiet walk. Inspiration often comes from places I’ve visited, memories I carry, or photographs I take along the way. These fragments become seeds for each piece.
I work in mixed media, combining oils, acrylics, watercolours, and digital sketches. Some pieces begin on paper or canvas, others evolve digitally, but all are layered with texture, intuition, and emotion. The process is fluid — I might return to a work days or weeks later, adding a subtle wash, a detail remembered, or a new colour entirely.
Each artwork reflects not just what I see, but how it feels to pause, to notice, to be still. It’s my way of holding onto beauty — and offering it back, quietly, to others.
